Thank you brady for your suggestion, I found it today! It just popped up searching latin house on discogs. It's the Sure Is Pure and Candy Flip guys.

ive started using the 'advanced search' on discogs which I never knew existed till recently
you can filter a search down by style, format, year etc which narrows down the search results
