Weird title for a thread, sorry its in the lyrics
A tune, 91-93... had a stomping kind of house beat but it wasnt typical house, nor hiphop, r&b yes/no idk
Sort of jazzy, mainly a piano riff over and over and a droning sound
Lyrics - (from what i can remember) (sung in jazz like way)
"Here's our interpretation of the Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers tune,
For those of you who raided the Horseshoe
Especially for you"
It was a tune that featured on a tape from Home club in Manchester - DJ Tab (Tabatha, if I remember correctly). The tape was eclectic downtempo jazz/hip-hop/house - if anyone has ever heard it or has it, I'd be really interested to know.
