So I'm listening to JJ tribute... I hear in my mind the next tune mixing in (an old memory)... burning up - burning up

Could be from in the club I used to go, or from a Sasha tape I maybe once heard. However, it's one of those situations I just don't know.

Possibly Italian house, however... I can't find anything on discogs or youtube called Burning up from Italy.

The only lead I've got is Gale [Robinson] - Burning Up 1991 but there are no sound/video files found for it (belgian)

Does anyone know if that might be my track? No way of knowing, otherwise. Might not even be called Burning up.

Nice tune, I just heard it while searching the 80s on discogs. No, it isn't, but thank you!!!

I actually felt I was going to find my tune doing the 80s, like it was a disco style sample that was used - but I've done all the songs titled burnin (not burning) under electronic - 80s.

Might have to alter the spelling and start again lol.

brady ----thanks---- it turns out that's a separate memory and red herring (that second bit). I've tried many of the mixes looking for (i'm burning up, i'm burning up) which is in a different singing style. You've solved that one, and ruled it out at the same time. Doesn't solve the one I hear coming into J.J. Tribute.

So sorry to everyone for their efforts, and grateful too.

I'm gonna have to drop the obsession with the tune I think. It's not going to be called burnin' or burning up, or burn it up.
