Thanks for your reply wile e coyote . I have that record which he plays at around 13-14 min in but it's the track at 16min onwards with the orchestra sample I'm after.

Does anyone know the name of the orchestral sample? I know we've heard it in so many TV shows and movies but I don't recall ever finding out what it was.
If we can figure that out we might have a clue to help us ID this tune.

Okay before I could even post this I was able to ID the sample. I found it in this video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/OzOh9cTbX60?t=4m41s ..... the sample is called Sabre Dance by Khachaturian

Now we just need to find out who used that sample.

Okay I think I've found it.
It should be this one: Brain Damage - Sabre Dance on K.N.O.R. Records 1993

I downloaded it and compared it to the live set and both sound exactly the same albeit that the tune has been sped up for the set. :)

Wow, thanks Dj Choonz, that's some spot on detective work there. Big thumbs up. I try and only use tuneid when I can't find anything on discogs and YouTube but I had no idea on this one. No YouTube clips but managed to find a tracklist of another technotrance set which I listened too.
