I had a similar post from back in 2009 but didn't have the mp3 files to attach. It has only taken me 7 years to get round to getting this sorted. :o :|

This is a mix CD from back in 1994/95, recorded off the radio.
It starts with a guy saying something that sounds like "E ahora el mambo della rambla". It's a collection of rather minimalistic, melodic House tunes.

I've tried using Shazam on all the tunes and not a single one comes up, so it must be a pretty rare collection.

Please have a listen and let me know if you know any of the tunes or even better if you know the name of the CD.

I've left out tracks 7 and 8 as they were rather nondescript.

Note: This CD was played on a show called Beats Per Minute on Perth (WA) radio station RTRFM by Dj Colin Bridges. I've tried leaving messages for him over the years but never got a response. Hopefully another TuneID'er knows this DJ and can ask him?? :\

Also, Track 3 samples the vocals in Chase - Music Is My Life
But neither of these two tracks are a remix of those two tunes.
I had checked WhoSampled on previous occasions but the tunes that sample Love Honey,Love Heartache and Music Is My Life didn't come up.

Yes that's corret BUNKERHEADZ!
I've tried using WhoSampled on 'Dj Chico' and on the song title but not a thing comes up.... :(
That tune was released in 1996 according to Discogs however I'm sure the mix I recorded was back in 1995, a year earlier.

It amazes me how a mix CD like this can be so hard to find and ID. It must be a rare Italian release, possibly on DiscoMagic or ZYX or any of the affiliated labels. Or it could be a Spanish release considering the opening sample?
