I thought it may have been two tracks in the mix, does sound very simillar.
I had a good look on Discogs to see if I could find any remixes/bootlegs but came up with nothing :(

I know what you mean, i started to think it was 2 tunes but im not sure it is? if it is they are cued exceptionally well, quite literally not even a hint of run out, its a difficult one isn't it:'(
I'll keep hunting and let you know if i stumble across or suss it:D

3.50 - the beat is from tyree - acid crash

there's a few mixes of it, and there's also video crash, which uses the same beat, again with a few mixes floating about.

i think tyree sampled lil louis - the original video clash -- so that might be an avenue if its not one of the tyree tunes.

I say that, as I'm not too sure that any of the tyree mixes contain the vocal bit -- which opens up the possibility its two tunes -- the beat and the vocal one. vocal is familar, but im not too sure it's on a tyree mix.

Christ Kammie, no fly's on you mate;) this is turning into a mindfield:crazy: Thanks very much for all your help chap, definitely the beat you suggested albeit there are differences in it, ie the soundfiles do have more going on in them as you've said but that Raindance soundfile( minus the lyric) seems to have been scaled down a little, you know the part that sounds like thunder,sort of! well they've definitely taken a part of that away as on the other soundfiles you've supplied that particular part sort of rolls on a bit, the more i listen to that Raindance soundfile mate the more i think its just one tune, i stand to be corrected though, if i find it i'll let you know.
