I have attached a clip of a reggae/disco track from 1984 (or perhaps 1983) from which the line 'Let me know when the guns are down' was sampled in 'Techno Grooves - Sympathy For House' [RS 90 030].
I wonder if anyone could ID this reggae/disco track? I have already posted this in the 1980s subforum (http://www.tuneid.com/sounds-80-s/93822-reggae-disco-1984-i-spoke-you-whisper.html) - including the full lyrics as I could make it out.
