Hi, I'm looking for the opening track from the above set but I've got no joy, as of yet.
Can anybody help please?

Hey mate welcome to TuneID
I cannot name the first track but judging by the style and the other tracks he plays there's a very good chance it is a dutch release.
Possibly on Dwarf Records or Baby Boom Records
I am probably wrong though and someone will be along to name it soon :$

It's for a lad I know thats just got back into the swing of all things hardcore. This, according to him anyway, is the holy grail of ID's as he's named most others he's loved over the years.
The search continues

It seems like this could be a nightmare!
The search is very nearly like the holy grail, without the endless benifits the grail possesses of course ;)

I was looking tune a while back that has the same "dance to the music when you hear the bells ring" Its not this but the sample comes from Swing - The Deff Boyz feat. Tony Mac | WhoSampled (http://www.whosampled.com/The-Deff-Boyz/Swing/) hope this helps in some way. The track I was after was Neophyte - Make you swing.

Right, I've had this PM on OOS.
Hi Mate
Sorry I haven't forgotten about this. It's been driving me crazy tbh. I'm pretty confident that it's a Gordon tennant production but unfortunately he made that many tunes, and under so many different names its very hard to find. Most of his tunes were released on his own labels, Jolly Roger & jolly roger lite. I've been through all of my own vinyl and the tunes on youtube but can't find that particular tune. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that. I am still buying tunes though so if I come across it I'll let you know.
Sparky
Hopefully we are getting closer to the truth!

Interesting Jolly Roger & Gordon Tennant have been mentioned as this opens up the possibility it may be something to do with Scott Brown and the plethora of sub labels branching off from the parent label Evolution Records

A hell of a lot to look through though :(
I just had a quick skim through some early Evolution releases but no joy!

It's the DJ Rob & Tim B remix on http://www.discogs.com/DJumpmaster-Dance-2-Da-Bells/release/118837
Can't take credit - a mate of mine has a ridiculous knowledge of this era and he gave the ID.
