Do you know WHERE and/or WHEN (i.e. what year) this recording was made??
Sounds like an obscure underrated 70s or 80s soul/R&B/Northern Soul (with a touch of jazz) track that unfortunately didn't receive enough radio airplay back in the day.
I'm going to search for this one-I'll let you know if/whenever I find it.
