This one has been getting on my tits for years.....many people have told me in the past that this terminator (http://www.zen8251.zen.co.uk/terminator2.mp3) is nrg - terminator. However I managed to track down this nrg number on chill records to find that nrg - terminator is in fact this (http://www.zen8251.zen.co.uk/terminator1.mp3)
So come on then guys, pull yer fingers out of your collective arses and throw a name at me:)
cheers

cheers jaz....so I spent ages on the lookout for the original of the remix then? lmfao!!
I hate it when the remix sounds fuck all like the original as it kinda confused me as people were telling me it was a neil rummey track but they sound nothing like each other.
Are we talking hen's teeth, as it took long enough to get this one?
cheers
jonny

lol yep jonny its one of the tunes that sounds totally different to the origional, I had a look at a partial Chill discog but it wasnt on there but I must assume its Chill007r (if this exists?).
I only have the tune on mp3 so I spose it could be labelled wrong but i dont think so.

that's the problem...all the people who have told me it is nrg are all going off the mp3 and they are probably all on about the same rip.....I havent had a defo from anybody with the actual vinyl and that is kinda worrying.
I might get onto sy's case again as it was an ark night he played at many many many moons ago that I first heard this bastard and decided it would be mine. Some 11 years later and I still havent got the bitch :'(
anybody know anybody with the vinyl to get a confirmed ID??
nah...didn't think so :(

This is one of my all time wanted vinyls too........I love all Neils stuff, it just hits the spot :).
My mate got the two from eastern bloc in 1992, I can even remember what they look like now. It does exist and is a proper release, there were two released at the same time.
He was a rich bugger and pissed me off cos I hadnt enough pocket money :@.
Ive never seen one since, but Im sure theres some lurking about, if you find a batch give us a shout asap!.
Cheers

nah....the dj freeze is fucking wank (scuse the french) and is one of my past buys in the hope that it might be the tune. I think I ended up throwing the fucker as I was pissed off that it wasnt the riight tune.
I asked sy if he knew what it was and he didnt have a fucking clue even tho it was him playing it in 92/3...I was at the Ark night but I think the tapes might have been labelled up wrong but my memory tells me it was him
who am i to argue tho?
the saga continues.....unfortunately

Soz to be a bit dim, but im lost here now.
So are you saying that the fisrt tune is terminator by nrg and thats the original, and the remix is the other one (which I know is nrg with the proper theme tune on), if so isnt this already answered. or are you after the name of the fist clip, or the second clip?. or are neither of these tunes the one youre after and youre after the Metalheadz Terminator or sommet?

the one labelled terminator2.mp3 is the one I wanted ID'ing and is the remix you mentioned seeing all those years ago. WYDS hasn't heard the samples so I guess he's just throwing names in the pot in case you were mistaken. If you are certain that it was a proper release, I'm happy to take your word for it.
Hours of searching the net has proven fruitless so far tho! Cant even find the remix mentioned anywhere:axe:
Anybody know NR's email address :p
I'm guessing that it was on chill but some stuff was on top banana....sirius, can you remember the label by any chance?
cheers

Youve got me wondering now........I remember it being on chill, infact I know its on chill cos Im 98% sure I remember it from the time...I remember it being the cat no. you rekon as well (sad git I am! :)) but it was a long time ago now.
Get in touch with Mousemaid (havent seen her about for a bit though) - she sort of knows Neil, and no he hasnt any going spare - Ive tried that avenue before! :).
Everything Niel does hits the spot for me, lovely stuff. Whats he upto these days? Ive lost touch with what he's doing - has he hung up the old keyboards for a set of pipe and slippers?.
See ya,
Sirius.

Not sure how relevant this is but he also released some stuff on Bizzarre Records - my copy of Power Within remix is on this label...
That terminator remix is almost definitely by him though, you can tell by the style of production. I also have this on an mp3, my mp3 is labelled NRG - Terminator Theme....... Hope you get this one tracked down cos I would love to know what it is for certain myself.

Same `ere. I made that mistake (twice!!!).
There is something out there which is similar to that Paolo Zerletti - Escape to Italy (But has Terminator music instead of john Carpenter`s escape from New York).
I`ve never been able to find its name and I lost the tape in 1992.
I rekon its on a seven inch white label released by someone called DJ Bilb and only five of them were made and sold from the back of a red ford escort in Soho on November 11th 1991 at 12.45pm so if you were passing at the time you may have seen it.
(Just realised .. what the hell am I going on about? - I blame the flu).

That tune you after aint called Terminator, it's called Unity and its on the Feel The Fury EP on Chill #25. No wonder you couldn't find it.
