Hi There

brand new to this site looks great tho

i am looking to find a track from around 1990 to 1993

it starts of with a scratch sample (wind it up a little bit) and there is a sample then come in (is this what you expected) the it then goes in to a techno style riff with another sample (dance while the record spins) it then builds up with a string then breaks to a piano part with the main vocal (dance with me the feeling is right you got to move your body when the -----is right
i have a small clip of this tune from a dj tape from back then but i dont no how to get it on to youtube so i can post a link from my mac

i was once told by a glasgow dj that it was on the B side of a white label with candi statons young hearts run free

if any one noes it would be e real help as i have been looking for it for over 20 years now

That bit is sampled from an older record which I can't think at the moment. Will come to me later.

if your sample is one of the following formats (mp3 ogg rm wav wma) you can use this sites built in upload feature.

if the file is under 1meg then you can just reply to this post using the go advanced option.

In there use the manage attachments file and then add your mp3

I must say a massive thanks for doing that for me I really appreciate it. I signed up to the other sight to see if I could contact Noggy but I need to wait to be approved. I did manage to contact the other Dj Mike Woods through discogs and SoundCloud and he just replied and said he had never heard it so it must have been noggy who played it. I feel I am so close to tracking it down here's hopping

Cheers I have put make an offer. Although if someone offered 40 quid it is a pittance compared to other rare tunes which go for hundreds of which there are 200 pressings for example. This is mega rare therefore you could make from repressing it yourself. So it reflects its uniqueness.

My opinion is that if I myself own rare records that I no longer play\need why put a huge price tag on it ? I would be very surprised if someone offered you a £1000 quid or anywhere near it :( would have to be one serious collector :) so my philosophy for rare tunes that I sell is that I would pefer someone to offer a lower price and enjoy it than have no price offered and have it collecting dust in my attic just gotta be realistic nowadays :)

I can see Mccider73 point putting a high price on it, if there are only a couple of copies in existence, why should he exchange it for something as common as money?

After me making a bit of noise about this tune some people try to cash in and make a quick buck by suggesting as you say repressing it. That was not my intention it was just an old raver turned DJ that wanted a record from a tape from years ago. Probably now the only way it will come up is if someone does try that. I Have been around a very long time to no that someone could cash in on it but it would be a lot harder not to get it distributed to independent stores as there are not a lot around.

Id also like to thank Lizard Inc Records in Warrington for tracking down PM. who had it
