ive just heard a tune on one of my maximes tapes its a minter its similer to young mc knowhow its got rapping all the way thru
some of the lyrics are:

it stats of: its been along time X3
then loads of rapping on to of a nice bass line
cos ive got to have soul, soul soul pump up the vol

that pretty much it can yo help

oh the tape i was on was zone at maximes vol 25 (it think is part 2) its on the dj rikkee set

Is it Erik B & Rakim? -I know you got soul - or was it 'follow the leader'..." its been a long time, I shouldnt have left you, without a strong rhyme to step to,....Pump up the volume,dance with the speaker to you hear it blow,then plug in the headphones 'cos here it goes etc etc. More HipHop than Zone though.....
