Hey m8s, here's the last part that's going to be in this genre. This covers everything of Oakenfold's up to the end of 1993. Part 1 (http://www.tuneid.com/old-skool-classics-1987-1993/51419-oakenfold-ids-part-1-1990-1992-a.html) has a couple of IDs left, and part 3 (http://www.tuneid.com/old-skool-classics-1987-1993/51567-oakenfold-ids-part-3-1992-a.html) still has a ways to go, so any help with those too would be very much appreciated! Thanks again everyone for all the help so far, without you guys I wouldn't have been able to figure these out. :D

1992-ID-24 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9hgw7gmM6g)
1992-10-ID-18 = The S.O.U.L. S.Y.S.T.E.M. - It's Gonna Be A Lovely Day (Palladium House Anthem II)
1993-08-13-ID-01 = Lee Marrow & The Love Tools - Biggest Dick
1993-08-13-ID-07 = J. Dee - My Love (Effective Mix)
1993-08-13-ID-17 = Fishbone Beat - Always (Psychedelic Martini Remix)

Notes
1992-ID-24 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9hgw7gmM6g): background strings, progressive style tune, tribal sounding sample, whistling style sound in the back, dramatic string buildup towards the end

1992-10-ID-18: trying to figure out what song is layered over the top of Electroset - How Does It Feel? (the blue monday sounding tune), it's being mixed into the end of the how does it feel tune. Female vocal-"it's gonna be, i love to get, for you and me, just plain to see, it's gonna be, i love.."?

1993-08-13-ID-01: trying to figure out what tune is being played over the top of X-Press 2 - London X-Press. Male samples-"hey! come on. hey! come on.", male sample-"let's get it, get it together", a subtle bassline from the unknown tune can be heard being mixed into the london x-press tune

1993-08-13-ID-07: unknown female vocal sample, keys, female vocal-"don't even think, i'm somebody's fool, just keep on reaching, for mind only.. , you gotta move, into her eyes, ..sanctuaries of love"?, "my love, my love, my love, my looovvve", "let your body"?, organ keys

1993-08-13-ID-17: techno sounding lead, unknown male sample-"..do do, got to do the do"?, female vocal-"always, always the same", swooping strings, dreamy breakdown, male sample-"going on, going on"?

I knew I should have listened to those Sasha & Digweed renaissance cds haha. If I had, the 'always' tune would have been easy to ID! I've always seen those cds for years but never listened to them, maybe I should get on that soon. Thanks guys

Thanks so much m8!

I didn't think that one was going to ever get ID'd since the sample is so short.

I checked out the different mixes of this record, and based on the sample I have, there's no way to tell exactly which mix was used. I was able to narrow it down to either the Deep Throat Mix or the Just A Groove Mix. Both of these versions are exactly the same in the last 2 1/2 minutes, so it really could be either one that was played. I don't want to guess, so I'm just going to leave it as the basic track name without the specific mix details.

Thanks again with the ID, I really appreciate your help! :D

you're welcome ;-)

I had chance when i found the title of this track. I was also looking for it a long time.
But when i was listening an essential mix of Danny Rampling from 1994 he played this track. I was fortunate to find the tracklist and so the title of this track.

Hey m8,

No not yet I'm afraid! I tried digging pretty deep a while ago but didn't have any luck. Personally I think it sounds like a remix in the style of Justin Robertson. So I checked a lot of his remixes from this time period, but didn't have any luck. I wasn't able to preview all of them, so who knows, it still could be a justin robertson mix lol. Can anybody help shed some light on this one?

Oh I think I know which one you're talking about! It's the soundbites-a6 sample from the following mix:
http://www.tuneid.com/old-skool-classics-1987-1993/35978-vertigo-soundwaves-dec92.html

And a longer sample of that tune is the soundwaves-7 sample on this page:

Hi wallabyFC

The last remaining tune is Datman - Chant (Strip mix) [Tomohawk]

It looks like this is the only tape that has the strip mix version.
