Hi,

I've been looking to get an ID for egid7 for a long time now, but didn't really know how to go about it as almost all Easygroove music is gabba or hardcore. Do you have any objections to me borrowing your clip to post on other sites like discogs for an ID? Just asking in case you've already tried that. I'm being lazy, I've got the tape but haven't really got the kit to transfer it to mp3 easily. Sorry I'm not posting with an ID (I could have helped with some of these Clubhouse and Mig29).

egid7 is The Overlords - 'Wow! Mr. Yogi' (Control The Mind) - not sure which mix

both egid5 & egid7 were id'd with Shazam free version, and both were found because the tunes were re-leased recently so they are in the database (they match the latest releases). Egid7 took about 15 shazam's over the last few years, just got lucky and matched a bit from the re-release in 2015.

So thus ends 23 years of searching, but to be fair I hadn't a hope in hell until technology came became useful in the late 90's.

The mix is the higher NRG mix from the US version of the CD (guessing some of the UK or promo vinyl has that version too). There's a note on discogs:

Can anyone help identify which release this version of the Overlords - wow! Mr yogi is please? I can’t find any clips with this version and the one clip I did find on YouTube which says it’s the CD version with more house vocals is the same as the other high nrg mixes so I’m a little confused.
