I have this as an unknown on a Seaman set from Jan '92, here is a sound clip of a bit better quality...

Have now attached a better quality sound clip.

Someone suggested this might be 'Mechanix Entrprise - Lets Get Down' on either Mighty Quinn or Citybeat.

Can anyone rule this out??

i know it might be a long shot but have you tried looking up Dave Seaman on Myspace and asking him directly with a link to the clip ??????

with a bit of luck he'll know straight away what it is :thumbsup:

I don't know this one, but have you checked out Soul Funky - Let's Get Down (http://www.discogs.com/Soul-Funky-Lets-Get-Down/release/835703)? There's no clips online so you'll prob need to contact someone who owns it.

I like this track you've posted shamanixx. Its got a nice old skool vibe. And do i hear the original vocal sample for Klaus - Break Not Down (http://www.discogs.com/Klaus-Break-Not-Down/release/787458) in here? I never heard that in the original clips. I always wondered where that sample came from.

discogs says E.Bloc in Mcr has a copy of Soul Funky Let's get Down - am gonna call in to see if that's the one!
