Pump Up the Volume sample

I have read on a number of sites including Wikepedia that 'Pump Up the Volume' (REMIX) by MARRS used a sample by Ofra Haza - Im Nin Alu. Now, i know this to be wrong. The only track to sample Ofra was 'Paid in Full' Eric B & Rakim
I believe the ethnic singing was the same sample that Yello used in their 'Santiago' track. Marrs speeded this sample up a bit. Listen to the Yello soundclip i have added and see what you think. I have no idea who this is on the Yello track.

it seems the vocalist is.. Santiago Alfonso

Yes, it does say this on the cover but there are two sets of vocals in this track. The first being the sample i uploaded and the second is an African style rambling guy at the end of the track. Both are different vocalists. :confused:
