Hi all...

I vaguely rememebr an old house tune that was on one of my beloved - but long lost :( - mixtapes, must have been from 92 I guess... The track sampled that into bit of abba : Take a chance, so it looped "take a chance take a chance take a take a chan-chance"...

Long shot I know, but any takers?

Hi mate...
The "take a chance" sample is right, but unfortunately not the track I was thinking of, which is a fair bit faster, and if I remember correctly, similar in style/era to Fargetta / Music Is Movin (certainly my mix tape had both of these songs on it)...

Cheer anyway though!

Lol... There was an Erasure that did a massively cheesy synth-pop cover of take a chance... Not the one I am after :D

Yeah! That could well be the one... Even if not, it is a classic old tune that I don't know how I ever forgot! Thanks for reminding me mate...

What mix is that clip from? Sounds very much like Angus or someone from Brissie Australia?

it's from a pete monsoon tape "startin from scratch" the after dark in morley leeds

i'l up the tracklist sometime as iv put up some of the tunes i didnt know on here
the tape starts with love decade is this a dream (dream on)
with i think MC Motormouth.......:mad: thru out the tape
