Knuckles used to do tape edits and make his own remixes back then, cant be sure but it sounds like one of the passes from Chic - Dance Dance Dance looped:confused:

Could be wrong, but just had a listen to that Chic track and think it's unlikley to be an edit of that. i'm sure i know it from somewhere but can't put my finger on it. Cheers anyway :thumbsup:
