I can't listen to them in work shooms but the fact that you have written cocaine makes me think that it could be liberty no 4. It is seriously only a guess but it's worth looking into

would say thats about right Chris... the tape was from 94 (Crunch @ Wobble in Brum - top night out) but was a 'classics' night mixed with some 94 upfront stuff... :D
Jon Hollis is the DJ btw - him & Phil Gifford are badly underrated DJs... :D

Wonder if Hollis is still doing it? Damn he was genius!
Last I heard Crunch is still going on a Friday.
Mark Jarman was brilliant as well, Was really spoilt down there.

Don't know if it's any help but the 'We are the bass it's time to get down' vocal is from 'M.A.S.I - Apache' released in 1991.
Discogs show re-release in 1994 with some new mixes so it could be one of these although the original does not have that belting piano.

Dino Lenny
The Maxx
The Lost Dats
Tribal Underground

It's from 93 / 94 I reck (my tape was 94 played at Crunch in Brum which was a classics night as well as a few cheeky upfronts from then)...

Had a quick Googley and found this at musicstack
'El Loco - Cocaine' (http://www.musicstack.com/album/el_loco/cocaine)
It's not on Discogs but another track of theirs is (assuming it's the same group :p) and this was released on Italian Style in 1994 so could be promising.
Can't find a clip anywhere tho' :(

Had a listen to the track and used to have this mix on tape, so familiar with this - sorry unfortunately don't know it.
This mix I had listed as 'John Hollis Crunch 1994' - excellent tracks / mixing - I'm still after one of the tracks from this mix - it was a Hip Hop track mixed over Prodigy 'Your Love' at the end of Side 2 of the tape - if anyone is familiar with this tape and knows the track, I would be really greatful if you could let me know what it is?
Cheers

Posting for closure & in case anyone else wanted to know the ID :)
I finally got an ID on this by pure fluke listening to a YouTube entitled 'Global Grooves unknown' & then PMing the uploader & persuading him to sell it to me.. so I had the tune but no further details... but from the Ogs entry it seems it's been subsequently ID'd as Phantom Power (Air Tattoo / Punchanella etc)
https://www.discogs.com/Phantom-Power-Cocaine/release/9498566
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPunziKJB6M
Also this must have been an major inspiration for it (beats / vocal samples / b line)
