Hiyaz folks!
Am requiring some of your expert knowledge :turn: I've been searching for this nasty little Darkside tune for years, and have it on a Grooverider, Edge mixtape from '93. The tune was played in it's entirity at what must be the end of his set. Can only give you a list of the samples and a description 'cos I'm not computer literate, but here goes....
Rudeboy samples -
-begins with
"Beware the Demonica"
"Dread alert dread man"
"Control the dread" (?)
-midway through tune
"Demons of the Darkside" (repeated twice).
Darth Vader sample -
-3/4 way through
"Give yourself to the darkside" (repeated twice).
Unknown film sample -
-near end/fade in mix?
"They're gone. They're all dead...."
Is an odd, different type of darkside tune, as it has a 4/4 beat running through the main part of it and a subdued, rolling breakbeat which is pitched up, then back down again and the sequence repeated. Made an awesome ending to the set!! I was given pointers to it being a white label titled as "Demons of the Darkside" (no prizes for originality there!), but thought I'd try again for more info here!
Any help would be most appreciated, even if I have'nt a hope in hell finding it!!!
Cheers!
