These are probably easy for 88/89 heads but I am a bit sketchy pre 1990. They are all from video clips so apolgies for length of them but they make good viewing anyway!
1. First tune playing on this clip:

2. First tune playing on this clip:

3. First tune playing on this clip:

4. Tune that comes in about 04:19 mins and goes on to 06:46mins on this clip:

Wow! Impressive stuff! Nice one everyone! Hope you enjoyed watching the footage!
Thanks.
:D
By the way - any one have recommendations for tunes on a similar vibe - bass line stuff more than 303 driven stuff or really balearic (spelling?) stuff..
I didn't really know what was going on back in 89! I was going out a bit and listening to my mates tapes but I was only 16 at the time and I didn't start buying vinyl until 1990 (the first 12inch I bought was Cybersonik - Technarchy ( ;) )
Gotta relocate these old bass line 88/89 tunes and find out what they were called!
aaaaaah....
nostalgia...
aint it a trip!
woop!

Just watched the fourth one - awesome. Brightly coloured baggy gear all round, and uninhibited going-for-it vibe. :)
And, to think, 3 year later, it was all posing, all in black, in Back to Basics.
I think the scene now needs to get back to basics, '89 style!

Yep, spot on it is the 2nd track, but on the 2nd clip.
The clip that Mick was on about was on clip 1, and Paul Ided that correctly.

Aye :hubba: Cheers Matt,
No problem. Moderator in Moderating Shocker. ;)
The reason I checked was I couldn't understand how there could be any confusion between the two records; it was really doing my head in. The I thought, hold on I wonder if they are talking about different clips ;).

I think you're right first time: Turn it out - Homeboys Only
As I think I can hear the lyric 'Turn It Out' being rapped.
Cheers. :turn:
