Hello chaps, it was the end of 89 begining of 1990(a friday) i was 17,and in a club in Grimsby (an allnighter by the name of Customs) we`d come across from Hull, it was my first E night, 15 quid a shout (no trips about)..........................anyway in the club itself, the music and the atmosphere where superb, i remember "infinity" Guru Josh and "just can`t get enough" Depeche Mode being played, (sounded really strange that one :fekked: ) but among the track`s that seemed to stand out in my mind was this one or some version of it, it was just the lyric "let there be house" sampled from Jack`s house (i think) but sort of repeated over and over acompanied by some hypnotic beats etc. The strange thing is ,the following day one of the cats who we were with, drove to Manchester, to Aflecks Palace to buy a pair of Flares(truth) and we popped into Eastern Bloc and the track was playing ( i was still funking mashed from the night before, and did`nt think to ask.....shame eh).
Anyway as you can imagine the club`s long gone but the memory still lingers,so as pathetic as it might sound now, if anybody can help?????????????????
Cheer`s
