hi,

i came across a white label in my collection this morning which is a remix of 'genaside ii - narra mine'.

i've never played it before, and i've no idea what year it sneaked into my collection.

here's a rip, any ideas? -

white-g2 - narra mine remix (http://www.btinternet.com/~damag3/white-g2_-_narra_mine_-_remix.mp3) phones:

sorry about the filesize, i can only do high quality rips on this pc... http://www.oldskoolanthemz.com/forum/images/icons/icon9.gif

the cat number is 'G2'

thanks!

cheers for the reply!

i noticed that on discogs, but i'm not sure if it is one of those tracks.

there are only two tracks on the e.p. i have (one on each side), and there are four tunes on that discogs listing.

the cat# is kind of similar, and i wondered if what is on my vinyl are the 'a1' and 'a2' remixes by peter lorimer and g double e? but a promo of a promo is unusual, so that's why i thought i'd ask and see if anyone actually knows...

I reckon its this http://www.discogs.com/release/170343

If in doubt you could always time it and see if the times match up.

thanks! :)

the times are close, that rip i did runs for 8'17" and the discogs listing is 8'01", but they're close enough to be pitch discrepancies...

i'll rip n post the other side of this w/l later as it's quite good, and it might ring some bells for someone.

There was a DMC remix of this. I'll have to have a root to locate the vinyl though and have a compare.

Just listened and Its not the remix from DMC underground selection 9/92.

How long have you had this cos it could have been off that double pack of remixes from around 97 (not the armand van helden mix and deffo not the wu wear mix lol but there were some more mixes - I got rid of mine a few years back so can`t double check - doh!)
