hello peepz!

i would appreciate it if someone could tell me what the ORIGINAL copy of 'Rhythm Foundation - Let the whole world know' is.

is it italian,european or uk????

i've got 2 copies,both different.
the 1st one is:

'Rhythm Foundation - Let the whole world know'
BCM records
Cat.No. x1579
it has various mixes on it:
side 1
1. main mix
2. piono dub
side 2
1. hard beat
2.heavenly roots mix
it has 'dj sepha' etched into the vinyl around the inside of the record.the actual centre is just like a white label...pure white!
it says it's produced by 'giovanni martinelli' and has Edizioni Lombardoni written on the back cover.the front has a view of a town through some 'scaffolding' and is blue and white.

the 2nd one is:

'Rhythm Foundation - Wait til your father gets home'

it's on M.O.S records.Cat.No M.O.S 003
yellow cover & centre etc. i've seen another copy the same as this.it has these versions on it:
side a
wait til your father gets home
side b
track one:
the original mix
track two
heavenly roots edit

it says produced by mark stagg on this one,i presume he's produced side a.

any info would be great and much appreciated, especially if some one has an italian copy with a printed record centre, with
a stamp,date etc.

is it italian,or have they pinched a one of my favourite tunes of all time and called it italian?????

cheerz peepz

It was never Italian. It was two blokes from Blackburn who did it. They made it look Italian so they could charge more for it. One of bloke who co-wrote it comes on the site from time to time.

Hehehehe, this one's got me baffled too mate  :hole: :fekked:

All I know is I got a big fukkin tune with a pic sleave that says:

Rhythm Foundation - Let the whole world know

That'll do for me - I'm sick of trying to analyse this one :D :D

I blame it all on HTFR ;)

cheers matey!
is that why it's a white label then,so they didn't have to replicate the stamp etc. ???
i just checked and they've spelt 'lombardoni' with an extra 'i' on the back.probably so they didn't break copyright laws or something.
was the white label the original then?

I seem to remember there was a original white label, then the fake import, then the UK release. Oddly enough, I'm pretty sure my mate has the fake import with a proper printed inlay (without an Italian stamp mind).

dudes!
cheers for the info,i'm not surprised to hear it's not italian,i had a feeling it wasn't.i thought they'd maybe claimed it as their own,you know, like when they released tunes under a female artist name, but the vocal was a well used sample e.g. 'jennifer lucas - take on higher'.they got away with murder sample-wise :naughty:

PWM - get yourself together (underground italy)

this has the same vocal samples as R.F but has a house beat rather than a breakbeat.
it also has a rap in it.i haven't got a sample of it (should you need one,i miht be totally wrong!) but it's been mentioned on this board before so you should have no probs there.
all the best

I had a look at my mate's "dodgy" import and it's deffo got a proper printed label on the record inner. The cat# on the inner was different though but the track listing was identical.

Sweet - the other half of Rhythm Foundation goes on anthems.com quite a bit - his name's Flash.

Rhythm foundation.. Damn I forgot about this one!

This is a top top tune,

it's just about at grips with the right side of cheese. Brings back a lot of memories. Definately one that completely passed me by when I was collecting old skool stuff yonks ago.

If anyone wants to part with this for a bit of hard earned gimme a shout.

Or a swap even?

I Got a copy of ultraviolet 'kites' the one with 'i wish that' goin spare if anyones interested.
