OK I know Lock n' Load remixed this a while back but I know I've heard this on an old tape before....

Blow ya mind with a rock in front (maybe!),
I'm keeping up with ma words, so strong,
pure protection from beginning to the end
I'm here once again.

sorry but can't remember what the rest of the track goes like....

cheers

Bob

Mad as feck, was just listening to this one, 10 mins ago.

It is indeed Sound Source Take Me Up.

My copy is the illegal mixes, dj promo, on b-tech records.

Am I right in thinking that its called the illegal remixes because it samples 'Everybody Dance Now' by....... ooh bugger wheres that sample from? Its on the tip of my tongue.

Top breakbeat tune n'y way. Couldnt believe my luck when I found it on a trance site 1 month ago, at a vastly under-estimated price!(I'm not telling how much though, youl just have to guess)

I was well suprised when I first heard the lyrics in this one, cos I'd heard the Shiiiiiiiiite Lock and Load Version first, which still makes me want to vomit everytime I think of it........**bluurgh**

I'm going with Soundsource as well !!!

The version you'll most likely have heard on the old tapes is a version called "The Bboys Worldcup Remix" which came out on BTECH in 1991 under # HANG4

lol, I always thought this one was the original....

Sorry Vinyl Animal, I'm going to have to superceed the wealth of knowledge you normally have, lol

Exact Details scratched into the Black inner line of the record are: Audiodisc910903 HANG3.

These were the original mixes, and onyl released on dj promo, because of the illegal sample, hence 'the illegal mixes'.

Ive only ever seen this for sale once, and I bought it!

Well chuffed!!!!

Nah, what I meant mate was that I never bothered taking any notice of the mixes when I bought it.

Wasn't disputing it, lol. I know HANG4 isn't the original cause it's called the "remix". What I meant was it was years before I realised that an original existed, cause I never looked close enough at the mixes on HANG4 :axe: :axe:

Thing is, I don't think I've heard anyone play the original !!! The only version I remember being hammered is HANG4. What's it like mate ??

Is it a lot different ??

I dont know, funny thing is I've only ever heard the versions Ive got, though the record I have has 4 mixes on, so one of these could have been on the later remix release.?

Lol, I must admit that thought had crossed my mind mate. Gotta know now !!!!

What I'll do is rip a bit of the one I'm on about and stick it in a locker. I've got this sneaking suspicion it's gonna be one in the same....

Heheheh, I love a good "release scandal" !!!
