C & C music factory - Dr Love

right, it's from a tony humphries, cj mackintosh tape. when cj is playing a guy comes on the mic and sounds 'the only date in ireland, just for you'. incase anyone else has the same tape

it's the humphries side and he plays some of these tunes (not in this order as i doing it from memory)

double exposure - 10 percent
new dance republic - take it to the top
dr alban - what is love
motiv8 - rockin for myself

he also plays a mix of C & C music factory - dr love. its very dark and quite brooding. i think it's C & C music factory as the tune definitly says 'doctor love' in it.

my question is what mix is it? i've brought every doctor love i could find and none of the mixes have even come close to sounding like the one on this tape, it might not even be C & C

any help would be mucho appreciated, even if its a disocgraphy of the mixes for this tune

Its not a remix of the First Choice 'Doctor Love' tune is it? I know the Basement Boys got their hands on it in the early 90's and its been mixed, sampled and remixed by loads of people - a moody dub of it would be right up Tony Humphries street...

I'm pretty sure I've got some mixes of First Choice - Dr Love from early - mid 90's, I'll see if I can find them. Did C&C do a cover of the song?

thats true, i forgot it was done by first choice. maybe i've been looking for a remix by the wrong people
