Cheers Noel, Top Man  I'll get mesen on soulseek for once now Im on broadband, probably be easiest.
Im almost convinced this is 25th August 1989 altho Ive always been shite with dates, names etc so someone will probably correct me. It was one of the first times I actually got into the Hacienda. The reason I remember it is cos Mikey P played Koxo and Parky played Urban Nature and mi mates sister kissed Parkys swede or so she said lol

This "Is like That" Track could be a Frankie Bones Tune from 1989.
A Track from Bonesbreaks 2 & 3 (from 89) is it not - I had checked that

yeah noel thats the date i was given it as originally on tape ( thats what a ripped the mp3 from)
the "its like that" track isnt from the bonesbreaks eps as far as i can remember and i used to play em all religously
the bonesbreaks tracks were all pretty raw basic tunes

Grover spotted that it's either sampling or possibly 1 of the acid mixes of Wee Papa Girl Rappers 'Heat it Up'

i just checked the 12" and the 7" of heat it up
the vocal hook does sound as if its sampled from this but thats about it as far as similarity
not got any remixes of this to check thou soz
the music on the normal 12" is done by 2 men a trumpet & a drum machine so dare say they got to do a remix
just guessing thou
