You got me running?

Hi there,
Hope somebody can help me out with the track i'm looking for most.
It's an italian track (At least I guess it's italian because It sounded like that) which I heard only the radio back in 1992 on a french radiostation. As that guy spoke french (and you know how they pronounce their english) and I don't, I couldn't understand the artist or title.
They only thing I can remember is a woman singing (fast) 'You got me running, got me running, you got me running back' something like that. I can't remember the music of the track but i'm sure it was a pianohouse track.
If somebody wants to hear the melody of what she's singing (that's really the only thing I can remember) I can sing and record it. :guitar: ;)
It's not Sima - You got me running or Cayera - You got me running (X-energy). The last one is a great track and actually sampled Sima but it's not the one... :confused:

I have to say that it seems as if the vocal is from Touch and Go, which appears on quite a few Italian tunes from around then. Might be a little difficult to narrow it down without a sound clip.

Sorry guys, that's not the vocal I mean. I always call this part of 'Touch and go' the Itchy & scratchy part. :)
It was more the typical italohouse style of singing: very high and powerful. Like the old 49ers stuff.
Something I forgot to say: As far as I can remember it was a full vocal track so not just a sample.

Just listened to the soundclip. They also used the 'You got me running' sample of Sima.
it's not the one I'm looking for but the track itself is GOOOD!

Ooops sorry guys, You are right. I was a bit confused: The sample is 'Touch and go' and not Sima. :$

No this is not it. It's real, real italohouse in the style of the tracks above (Cayera and Iribe Kossa) and the ones you can listen too here... (just to give you guys an idea of the style of the track). I will record the chorus of the song with my pretty voice and post it in the next one. :-)

Sorry for not responding, was not home anymore.
It's not the one unfortunately. :( I think there's only one thing left: Hope that their are french guys on this forum which kept their copies of magazines with the Skyrock 'topdance' hitlist in it. Already got a couple of them but not the ones from the summer of '92, when the song was played... that much. Thanks guys, Your help is very appreciated!

Alrighty, like 9 months after the start of this thread I finished one of my longest searches (13 years) ever, per coincidence actually.
Never thought I would find the track without knowing the artist or title.

Happily my memory didn't fool me (I seriously started doubting after 13 years): There was this 'You got me running' sample in the track, not the Touch & Go one but sampled from Sima.

The track I was hunting after is from (Now don't judge to quick) Sabrina 'Boys, boys, boys' Salerno **AHEM** and is called 'Cover Model'.
Released in '91 on DJM label (Italy) and was produced by ex Media Records team members P. Rossini & DJ Mori (they composed all the old 49ers stuff, clubhouse - deep in my heart for example), who did just started their label. I guess this label later became DJ Movement.

Anyway, I finished my search and I am waiting for the record I ordered this week to arrive. :thumbsup:

I added a sample I found on the net. That's all I have for now.
