Hi all, im a newbie here.
Was just moochin round the net trying to find some info, i dont remember how i got here but glad i did :)
Anyway i need some help guys. As im sure youll remember Joy & Joyce - Babe Babe, anyway im trying to find out what samples where used to make the song up. Ive tried loads of places but no one seems to know and its driving me crazy
I know that Siedah Garret - Kissing and Alisha Warren - Touch Me where both used but theres someone else singing on that tune and i havent got the foggiest idea who it is. Basicly its the main vocals that i need, and completely stuck.
Does anyone have any idea at all, or can through any info my way to try and track the song down please.. who is this woman?
Ill be eternally greatfull to anyone
Cheers in advance
(Siedah Garret was used for the 'Whooooo' and 'Babe Babe')
(Alisha Warren was used for 'cold chill down my spine')

I always thought that the main vocals (other than the sampled vocals) were originally sung for that record...

Yeah, I thought they sang the lyrics that werent sampled too......they got in a sound-a-like to blend the two names you listed IMO.........

AWW FFUUUUUWWWWKKEEENNNNHEELLLLLL LOL
My dreams and plans have been shattered now :'( LOL DAM AND BLAST, im gutted i tell ya. To be honest i didnt know if they 'other' vocals did exsist, i was just assuming. I thought that because theyd already sampled 2 vocals then maybe all 3 were sampled, and because when they redid it with corona some of the lyrics were changed, i thought maybe that was due to some copyright.
Ive been collecting acapellas for about 2 years now and since id got the alisha warren and siedah garrett pellas id try for the other one.. oh well
Glad i know though now.. so thanx guys :)

hey, dont give up. Jus 'cos we dont know it doesnt mean it dont exist bud. We all dont know VA's wants(where do all those piano choons appear from?!!!!!).
I bet if you went to milano and knocked on Bortolotti's/whoever's door, he'd have the pella's on DAT somewhere:phones:... It may have got release on an obscure italian dj accapella record (like those mad dj proffessor media ones that came out)..... Your quest must continue......or perhaps not then. :D
See ya,
Sirius.

Hello purepaul mate - welcome aboard
I dunno I'm afraid. At a guess I'd say the samples ripped, but I've no idea where from. Looking at the vinyl it would appear to be someone called "Francesco Bontempi" who put the track together.
The name rings a bell but then these Italio names all sound the same, lol :redneck:
I'll keep me eyes peeled mate :D
