I can't really hear the other one but I think I can hear a "you make me feel" which makes me think its The Tape - B Sides but this could be complete cobblers.
I'm amazed that you got Collapse LiquidE I could just hear some far off whine. Time to buy some new speakers me thinks!

lol thx guys, are the samples im posting low? if they are then appolgies peeps, i have my puter runnin throu some separates so didnt realise, ill see if i can get the rest any better there off realy battered tapes, hell some of em even play backwards eeek

What software are you using to record? On most wave recorders there is an option called "normalise" which will increase the volume of your file to the maximum possible level after you've recorded it. Either that or a simple volume boost option would do the trick ;)

its built in software for me soundcard, think ive sussed it, if i turn the volume up on me stedge it acts as a sort of recording level thingy bob
