They're good mixes these, often overlooked. Also got the Parky one which everyone seems to have with Gwen McRae's 'All This Love...' on it at the beginning - that's one of my fave tapes EVER. yeah best thing is that ali whitehead was 16 / 17 when he did these mixes - i used speak to him a fair bit - when he was resident at venue 44 and ripe at limmo's in mansfield with one of my m8s in 93 94 - couldnt ask for a nicer person proper down to earth - also if ya think these mixes are good ya ought to hear dj sy's from same time , same place - they are classics

Too right - the highlight for me's got to be when he does the 'Todd Terry' style section on the first side. Right from Royal House to Acid Trax he's absolutely rocking and that 'Try Yazz' and the Frankie Bones tune - phew! :cops:
I met Ali a few times as well when I was playing out in Sheffield. Agree with u Al - mega down to earth and nice with it too...
