Deffo agree Mike - I was thinkin same thing....
If the tunes on this tape are from 93 deffo then it wasnt from Quest... (I would say not even on a mixmag tour)...
Wasnt this place originally JJ's, then Quest, then Pimps/Picassos ?

Quest was held in Paloma's which was a large function room above Picasso's nightclub (shithole towny club) They also used the same room to hold Pimp although this was occasionally put on in Picasso's too later on, on a friday night as its popularity waned. I used to work there at one point! (nothing glamorous though just setting up the room and doing glass collecting etc)
These days it's Rileys pool hall!
J Jays was a completely different club a couple of miles out of town in Willenhall, and it changed its name to Mr Bs sometime in 93 i think.
Anyway I would say this tape is definitely likely to be from Pimp rather than Quest!

i tend to agree with konspiracy on the date coz if this is the set which starts with broken english one side and emf the other then ive always had this down as november 1992. i also have a set from the corn exch from 24/10/92 which has similar tunes so i think its late 92.

I have this mix as Quest Jan 1993 too...It sounds a month or two older than Kinetic which was Nov 1992, so I dont find it inconceivable that it was Dec 1992 or Jan 1993....

Where has "Quest Club" come from? Quest was the name of the night not the club, and by january 1993 was hardcore and jungle - they would not have booked sasha!!! I think you'll find this tape is from Pimp not Quest.
