I'm trying to ID a tune that was used on an old Channel 4 documentary about Ibiza in 1992 ? Most of the tunes played were either JBO or Westbam/LowSpirit - but the one I am looking for started with a big serious female voice :
" Tonight is party night .. "
Thats all I have to go on - sorry pretty vague really

It might well be ?? I really don't have any more info - I haven't heard the tune myself for about 8 years - I've only got the sample in my head - but you might be right about the words ..
I'll have to dig out the VHS and watch it again - funny program - watching The Farm jumping round the Ku like little kids.

Sounds like its the "A short guide to chilling" doc from the Ibiza 90 promotion.... :D
Top filamge that.... will have a re-watch 2nite on vid & let you know.... however most of the music was chilled stuff (apart from 808 state - In yer face)...
Stuff like
Man called Adam - Barefoot in the head
Voices of Africa - Hoomba Hoomba
Bocca Juniors - Raise
Pianonegro
etc etc

FPI Project - Risky doesnt contain the Todd Terry pella.. 'Tonight its party time, its party time tonight!'
FPI contains a whispering female vocal.. 'Tonight.... its party time..

Tonight it's party time..it's party time tonight. That has been sampled a few times on some of my tapes from 1989-1990, maybe in some megamixes, i can't rememeber at the mo. I did look for a tune with that title because of it tho and found one but this is i think from 1995 called
outta control - tonight it's party time

You beauty! Thanks for the tracklist of this - been after one for a little while. Surely the best thought about and put together soundtrack of ANY dance documentary...
Quality!
Cheers!

It did yes - A live PA at KU (when it had no roof ) ...doing 'Groovy Train'.
From memory there were three PA's featured:
A Man Called Adam - Barefoot In The Head (= :phones:)
808 State - In Your Face
The Farm - Groovy Train
