Wand & Storm HQ - Do You Wanna Party

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if the above record is a type of Zone record. I used to have I think, but it got nicked and just want to conform that it is the same one. Mine was on a black with silver writing label!!!!

It was an uplifting progressive track, much like Wizard Of Oz - Land Of Oz.

It sets off with a beat and has funny sounding samples until it breaks into Do You Wanna Party, with an uplifting synth.

Can anyone help

yes big Stu Davis tune was on white when i got it but eventually came out on the UK version of Discomagic it usually pops up in Vinyl Exchange bins where i got mine from

I can get a sample sorted but here is a description....god it's a while since I've done this.......

The tune starts with a good solid bouncy beat and progresses up with some weird sounds...one of them sounds like "de-le-de-le-de" (high pitched).....
and a sort of "owww!!!"

then there's a sound that starts off low and the pitch goes up and up and up really high...like as if you were whistling and it just builds up and up

then it drops into the "do you wanna partttttyyyy!!!"

But it's far more high energy than any of those samples...

There's a synth in the chorus really mad style....and it just comes in and out of that and the "do you wanna party" vocal...

This was played by Stuart Davies....Dave Taylor....95-96 if I remember....it was only probably released 95 so it's none of those earlier tracks.....


fuck me that was hard work and it probably won't help.

Scott's original version had that IF U C KAY written on the inner of the record...which is apparantly the label but not sure

One of me other mates has it and it's on DISCOMAGIC UK....white sleeve with gold writing on it EUROWAVE or somet...
