has any one got the info on both releases of tontos drum by eagles prey? there was the orig and then a n emerson mix version. is there a track or is it this track that has a vocal over what sounds like a bell being hit repeatedly saying "in these dark days"
then says "feeling good today" ? like a male spoken vocal
it may be on the b of one of these ???

I have the emerson remix cat no.tep-1
which has the original on the flip,
but no vocals on any as described.
Don't know if this helps?!

i've listened to both mixes on the 12 i have of this: -
side a - tonto's drum (tonto's drum & bass mix)
side b - tonto's drum (little mix on the prairie)
the only vocals on these i've picked out are 'hey one love' and 'give it to em - give it to them'
had a listen to the lexicon avenue remix from 1991 and that doesnt use any different vocals either.....

Can't give much advice on this one - I do have the original white label but it is 400 miles away, so I can't check it out. Give me a few months when I make the trip oop north again and i'll try and dig it out.
...'tis an absolute classic none the less - a definitive tune in the progressive house era (wasn't it all just house music anyway? ...with a few more bongos thrown in?) [rant over about progressive house music]
One of the sides definitely had the 'give it to em - give it to them' that "stelladry" mentioned.
