I'm searching for an ultra rare oldskool techno rave track from around 1991 with the vocal sample ''This is Catastrophic'' the same as ''Lords of Acid - Let's get high'' track,
but that track was more of electro techno bleepy sounds, and it was one of the weirdest and advanced tracks i had heard back then, only once and never again. I still haven't ID. I have no audio sample unfortunately.
It was on a mixtape set from early 1992 by a German DJ called Bustbam or Bustburn or something like that with full on Belgian style techno tracks from around 1991 in the set and some few UK techno rave tracks. As far as i remember some of the tracks on the mixtape were those:
- 4 hero - Mr Kirk
- Joey Beltram - Energy Flash
- L.A Style - James Brown is Dead
- N-Joi - Malfunction
- N-Joi - Adrenalin
- X - Ajuta
- DJPC - Insomniac (original)
- DJPC - Insomniac (i come back mix)
- N-Joi - Phoenix (part 1)
- Acid Lord - Hipnotek
- Fabio & Grooverider - Rage (1991 techno version)
- ?????????????? (this is catastrophic sample) tune ID
- Up Side - The Sound Of The Week-End
- Channel X - Groove to move
In between tracks it was edits with manic frequency tone scratching
Has anyone heard that mixtape? Any suggestions for the ID track?????????
