Hey guys,
I have a soul/funk number to ID - I think it's circa 1977 or around, found on a worn-out old tape from back in the time.
The lyrics are very hard to make out, I tried my best to transcribe it here:
[background choir: do-do-do-do ta-ri-ra-ra-rirarira]
a walk in the night
you've turned my life aro-o-o-ound
say you will and [feel] you want
say you do and [feel] you don't, [ever] lo-o-o-ve, [ever] lo-o-o-ve
cherish the love - you'd know i do
in you it can be fou-u-u-und
say you will and [feel] you want
say you do and [feel] you don't, [ever] lo-o-o-ve, [give me] lo-o-o-ve [baby, baby]
[background choir: hoooooh o-ooo-hooh / walk in the night / with the love, wo-oooh]
say you will, say you won't (say you won't)
say you do, say you don't (say you don't) (in the night / in the love)
[background choir: say you have that time / [feelings under mine] / say you may, you might / ...]
Google and Shazam doesn't seem to be of help here - I was wondering whether anyone could give a tip...
Any input would be more than welcome - thanks again in advance! :)
